One Big Happy Family!

I was SO nervous to shoot my friend Erin's HUGE family picture! 2 parents, 9 kids, 4 in-laws, and 5 grandkids equals 20 people! I felt it was wayyy out of my league but actually it turned out ok. The lighting was terrible so I like a lot of the B&W's. It was so fun to finally meet everyone and I loved the challege! I feel in love with this orange couch I found on Craigslist and used it in my own family pics.

I also got to take some individual family shots...

Trey

My awesome friend Kristi's little boy Trey is just a day younger then my little guy! It was fun doing shoots with him and seeing all their similarites... like how neither will sit still or smile when asked! This kid is going to be a famous surfer someday, mark my words.

The A Family

This was my first offical family shoot! My buddy H and her cute family wanted their pics taken and I was super nervous! On the DAY of I happend to pass by this random old abandoned house that had the coolest vintage stuff in the back!
Well... we thought it was abandoned. The owner actually showed up in his Winnie B halfway through but he was cool with it.
I learn so much everytime I do this... I love it!

Here are some of my favorites!

The R Family

I love these people. They are so down to earth and as friendly as they come. We had a fun morning together watching the peacocks shake their tail feathers (literally!) Of course little J is one of my favorite kids and was a doll. Of course the fact they are all so dang beautiful helps me out!

With child...

How great does my great friend Erin look for these maternitiy photos? Especially considering there was a near 10 lb baby boy just ready to bust outta there.

It was fun and I learned that a gold reflector can work wonders when there is a crappy dark sunset.
